So I got waitlisted at LECOM-B in December and sent a nicely crafted letter of interest a week or so after that. Annette in admissions said they were receptive to LOI's, and I had nothing to update the application with, so I just expressed my interest.

I was thinking of sending a second LOI as its been a month or so to express my continued interest in the program. It would be shorter than the first but would still convey many of the same ideas.

I recall hearing from a couple people on SDN that they sent multiple LOI's and were accepted. Upon acceptance they were told it was their persistence that got them off the waitlist. Is anyone able to speak to this this, or speak to specifically at LECOM-B? Is it advisable to send a second letter?

For your letter of intent did you hand-write it, type it, or send an email?

*sigh*. Do you really think that the Admissions Dean is going to scream out to the Dean "We have to admit this kid!!! S/he just sent us a second LOI!!!"

?????
