Sending an extra LOR while on the waitlist?

Just a quick question:

I was thinking about asking for another letter of rec from a science prof to send along with the update letters I will send after the semester is over. I only had a committee letter when I applied and I think the additional letter would be quite strong, though I feel my letters were already quite good. I was wondering if this would be useful at all or if I should just send an update with my grades and activities etc.

Send the updated letter of rec and any updates that you have while you're on the waitlist. I recommend you to use all avaialbe options that you have so you won't regret one bit later on. Good luck
