Sending LORs via US Mail from Interfolio

I sent my LORs via US Mail from Interfolio (June 4th) and they still have not arrived at AADSAS (under Status it says nothing).

I'm going crazy waiting for these letters to arrive an process. 🙁

Anyone else in a similar situation? Does anyone know how long the wait typically is?

Any reassurance or reality checks are welcome 👍

I know it is painful to wait for those things (LOR, transcripts) to show up.

I have LORs stored at interfolio, but I asked my evaluators to mail out the letters directly to AADSAS (via priority mail plus delivery confirmation--paid by me). The first paper LOR was delivered on Monday, just showed up as completed online today which was dated for yesterday. Meanwhile, I also emailed AADSAS and they told me it takes up to 5 business days for them to process paper LOR. Given that it is still very early in the application cycle, I think they tend to do things faster than that (mine was 2.5 days 😀 ).

Since you mailed yours via snail mail (I suppose), I think maybe you should give it another week. It definitely will show up. Good luck!

I am/was starting to get worried they got lost or something.

I wanted to send the LORs from Interfolio next day, registered, and with confirmation but since AADSAS has a P.O. Box, Interfolio did not allow me this option 🙁

Me too. I had them sent from interfolio on the 7th via priority mail. No sign of them yet. I emailed AADSAS and they said to expect 7-10 business days for them to be received and processed...

Do yours show a date for being received?

The AADSAS one.

No, it's actually on your aadsas account...you basically type in your letter writer's email and then it will send them a link so they can just upload it right there...it literally takes about 2 minutes apparently.

it is NOT the email of the letter writer's . it is a special email address that interfolio generated, which linked to the LOR stored in their system

Yea, i didn't use interfolio...just the electronic uploading form on my aadsas account. 😎
