General Admissions & OTCAS Sending out GRE scores?

Dear all,

I was working on the application on OTCAS and I am stuck with this problem: When do I need to send out my GRE score to the school? Can I send it before submitting my application? I wonder how the schools are going to know that GRE scores is indeed mine without my application. When did you all submit the test score?

Yes. GRE scores are associated with your name, DOB, and social security #. Scores can be submitted the day you take/finish GRE exam. (I submitted at the testing site. You can send it to up to five? schools for free if I recall correctly.)

You can send your GRE scores at any time. I took the test before i submitted my applications & included my GRE scores with it. I also took it again after I submitted my apps and sent then in again when I recieved them. The OTCAS system will send a notification to the schools letting them know that you updated your GRE scores. However, it is a good idea to have the scores in as soon as possible so that you can get an interview quicker. They likely wont consider your application until atleast 1 set of test scores are in.
