Sending scores to non-AMCAS schools

Does anyone know if how soon will a non-amcas school receive your mcat score after you authorize the release to them? Does it happen almost immediately since it's processed electronically or will it take another day or two?

I asked AAMC about this but got a very vague answer. Guess, they're just playing it safe.
