Does it make a difference how send the secondaries? Small things like using an envelope where you fold the pages. Would it make a difference if I used a large manila envelope where the pages are sent without being folded and also cost more to stamp?
It probably doesn't matter, but small things can make a difference, especially if everyone does a nicer thing and you aren't.

I bought a 15-pack of manila envelopes from Target, and use them for most secondaries. But this is not an issue for all schools, since MANY secondaries are online, and others come in the mail along with a specialized envelope (Drexel and Northwestern come to mind).

I used letter sized envelopes for all unless they provided one. I also used USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation for everything I mailed. $4.30 per item. Not bad for the peace of mind knowing it'll get there.

i mean if it was a big packet and it involved lots of papers then i used manilla...

if it just just one or two papers i needed to send then just envelope..

but i did send every secondary priority mail via usps.

I've only used Priority Mail for one app (Northwestern, since their deadline is so strict). No problems so far with any items mailed through regular mail.
