Sending Transcripts to AMCAS

How early can I send my transcripts to AMCAS? Can I send them in May when the app cycle opens, or do I need to wait until I submit my app in June to send my transcripts?

You can send them after the 2020 application season opens on May 1, 2019. Be sure the AMCAS Transcript Request Form that provides your Transcript ID# says 2020 at the top.

Your AMCAS application can does not enter the verification queue until BOTH your Primary Application and ALL your transcripts have been received by AMCAS. Sending transcripts in earlier does help insure that they are received but this does not help somehow get you in line earlier for verification, nor does it, in anyway, get you in line for earlier transmission to schools.

If I am in a postbacc program that does not start until July of 2022 and I am about to submit my application via AMCAS if I have not taken any courses yet and dont have a grade yet how do I send in the transcript?

This is all future work and therefore is reported as such. As an advisor, if I see a student who needs a postbacc, then applying PRIOR to actually taking any course may not be the wisest course of action

If you are in need of a post bacc to improve your GPA, you should not be applying this cycle.
