Sending transcripts to UCLA

Hey guys,

The interview invite says to send transcripts to UCLA. Does this mean we have to send all of the transcripts that we sent AMCAS, or does it matter if we don't send all of them? (e.g. I was thinking of just sending my UC Berkeley undergraduate transcript because the transcripts from the colleges i attended while in high school are a pain to request.) I already called the admissions office once so I'd rather not call them for this question b/c I don't want to be a pest! So any info you have will help!

Also, did any of you rush your requests? I'd prefer not to pay too much to get these transcripts sent out, but I don't know how urgent this is....the interview letter did not say.

i called today...and since my ucsd transcript has transfered credit from other schools i took classes at, the lady said that was okay...so you probably only have to send the one from your undergrad. i.e uc berkeley

if you read the blue paper that youre supposed to bring with you on your interview, there is a line in bold at the bottom. i took that to mean that all transcripts needed to be sent. also, if your amcas gpa was calculated based on grades that were received at other colleges, then ucla might want to verify those grades.

I never received a blue paper....but maybe that will come later when they send me the date of my interview. Buy anyway, you have a good point--my amcas gpa was a little different, so I should definitely send all transcripts! Thanks!!

yes, the blue paper comes with the official invite and date...

i sent all three of my transcripts just to be safe but my interviewer only appeared to have my undergrad one from berkeley.

me neither! i never received a blue paper! and i scheduled my interview over the phone before the invitation letter (which they included everything except that!)

they send you 2 letters regardless of whether you scheduled one over the phone.

first is the invitation letter

next is the official letter with the date and everything that comes included with the blue paper.
