Is it sufficient to send AAMC only one transcript with all the grades including transfer credits?

For example, I currently go to college A but I took a summer class at college B. College B reported my grades to college A. I have transfer credits for my summer course at college A. Would it be sufficient for AAMC to see the grades on college A's transcripts or would they want a separate transcript from college B?

My understanding is that you must submit transcripts from all institutions attended, which would mean transcripts from both institution A and institution B regardless of whether they show up on the other transcript or vice versa. Even if there is a way around it, it isn't worth delaying the verification of your application given that transcripts are so cheap.

I took Organic Chemistry at college A and got a F. I retook Organic Chemistry at college B and failed again! I finally retook Organic Chemistry for the third time and managed to get an A. With DO schools, I technically have an A in Organic Chemistry but does this rule me out of MD schools since 4+0+0/3 < 2.0 minimum? I'm just wondering if I screwed myself over by retaking it at college B twice. I could have retook it at college C, gotten my A, and not report college B on AAMC, leaving me with a 2.0 average.

In terms of satisfying MD requirements, the third A will do it; however, all of the grades are obviously factored into your overall cumulative GPA and science GPA so it will hurt. Also, you are required to divulge your grades from all schools that you attended, and there are ways of finding out (various clearinghouses and what not) if you aren't reporting all of your grades. If you are caught failing to report all of your grades, then you could be disciplined.

You do make a good point but let me clarify there are tons of applicants out there who have tweaked their apps in their favor. Whether its adding random EC's onto their list or vacationing in Hawaii and passing it off as some volunteering experience. Wouldn't hiding a school be the same thing? And are you 100% sure I would satisfy the MD requirement?

Knv2u is right. The National Student Clearinghouse will show AMCAS all of the schools that you've enrolled in. If you're caught deliberately leaving off transcripts, you'll be dismissed from school. The same goes for tweaking your app with other info. The only difference is that what schools you've gone to is something that can be directly verified.

It's harder to verify extracurriculars, but this can be done too (assuming that ethical considerations alone aren't enough). It's a small world, and you will be surprised at the amount of information in the public domain about you.
