Sending update about first author pub

Hi all,

I recently had a first author manuscript accepted in late September, in ACS!

When should I send this update to schools, for schools that do accept updates?

I've interviewed at a couple schools already, but will not hear back about a decision until the spring - should I send this update now or wait until I've possibly been waitlisted? I just want it to have the biggest impact that it can. My worry is that if I send it now, a decision may have already been made on my file, and I'm not 100% sure that my file will be re-reviewed later, if that makes sense.

Send it now. it won't undo any decisions that have been made, but your fate hasn't been determined yet at a lot of places.
