Hi Gang,

Here is a list of classes I can take this semester. I am starting my senior year.

I can pick one class off the following list, as I am already taking Molecular Biology of Nucleic Acids, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics and gen ed fluff. I am looking for a class that will be of great help in medical school. I can also do an independent study, so any suggestions would be welcome.

Cell Culture
Microbes in Human Disease
Comparative Histology
Managing Health Care Organization
Research (I have done almost no research in undergrad)

Note: I am trying to fit into Anatomy and Physiology....just need to track down the prof for permission. This is my first choice, but it is unlikely she will allow overages.

Thanks for the thoughts!

Realistically if you take certain things (eg Histo) then you just have to redo it in med school - which is sort of boring. I was so bored my first year of med school because of that.

But Microbes for Human Disease my be interesting for you and take a slighly different spin than med school will. I think Managing Health Care Organization would be interesting as well and not really covered in med school.

Research is good if you want to do it...if you don't then don't do it.
