Senioritis 2013

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.

Venom, you are sarcastic so often on these forums, you remind me of Denise from Scrubs.

Patient's Room

Narration: There was Denise, who could be a bit callous.

Denise: You know, ahah, it's ironic that cancer starts with 'can', because at this stage there's nothing we 'can' do about it.

JD: Let's take a walk sunshine.

Spanish...gotta make sure I pass tho...

Biochemistry for me too....bleh

Doesn't really count for me, but when I was finishing my BS degree and only needed a few more credits:

Animal Nutrition. If I have to think about the difference between ruminates and cecal fermentors one more time, I'm going to :barf:

At least you guys don't have a prereq to finish. I keep switching back and forth between "*yawn*, don't feel like doing anything" and "oh snap, if I don't do this, I'll be going to nursing school instead!"

That feeling when you're unable to take full advantage of senioritis :boom:

I've got pharmacology and target organ toxicology and pathology this semester. They only meet on Tuesday and Thursday. The limit does not exist for the amount of senioritis I have this semester.

International Ales, Lagers, and Culture.

They be all like, this is how you drink a beer! Look at the pretty color, and drink slow now! And I'm all like, pssh whatevah, I do what I want.

I still don't know where I'm going to end up, so it's a toss up. Assuming there's a possibility that I take a year off, I need to ace my light course load this semester.

If I am for sure matriculating, then I have Genetics and Biology Senior Seminar that I am accepting a B in. Advanced Molecular Biology is interesting and challenging enough to demand my full attention regardless of my med school status.

Your sig says that you are accepted...are you saying that you would withdraw your acceptances to have a year off and then re apply?

In another thread he stated he only applied to 2 schools, an MD and DO. He got deferred at the MD and accepted to the DO. He has good enough stats to go for an MD. If I was in his situation (and young), I'd reapply to a lot more schools next year and get dat dere MD.

This is correct. I just really don't know where I'll end up at this point. I'm interested in specialties that are fairly competitive, so I'm not sure if, assuming I'm rejected at my MD school, it would be in my best interest to take a year and reapply broadly.

Biochem II and Animal Conservation Biology to finish my degree. Coasting. B = degree but I'll probably still try to get an A in biochem because I don't know how else to be.
