Hi,
I was wondering if anyone out there currently applying to residency has a service committment to fulfill after residency? I am a part of the NHSC, and therefore have a 4 year service committment in a medically underserved area upon completion of my residency. As if deciding where to do my residency isn't hard enough, I am thinking about what areas might afford me the best opportunity to get a job that would fulfill my service commitment with minimal uprooting of my family. any one in/been in a similar situation? I'd appreciate any advice, info if anyone has it
