It is one semester.
No financial aid. You must take out private loans.
If you pass the classes with the requisite scores, you will continue. It is meant to give you a chance, so looking at how many people get through only reflects their abilities.

Its a program aimed at students who the admissions committee are on the fence about offering a full acceptance. Previously they were placing students in the MPH program and then admitting them into Medicine provided they performed well on the exams.

Hi, does anyone know why they changed form the MPH to the Foundations Of Medicine? It lists 7 classes, i don't know how they fit them in to 1 semester. Do most people offered an interview for school of medicine and foundation of medicine atleast get accepted into the foundation of medicine?

Well your answer is MONEY, they seen Ross make there money in MEDPREP so they came out with there own money gushing tactic, DONT DO IT, just get a US masters or MPH at your state school for cheaper, reapply and YOU WILL GET IN the following year with a more credible degree with the comforts of the US at a cheaper price!
That seems a bit harsh. I understand what your saying about making more money on the program. Do you go to SGU? Do you know anyone in the FOM program? Do you have any specific insight or is this just your opinion. Going at home would be a waste because it would delay begining school as you would have to re-apply and wait again.
Thanks.
Thanks.
Even if some one has other topics about SGU to discuss, money issue takes over. I'm surprised that how can some one afford to attend this school. It's so insanely expensive. Rich parents, tons of loans etc., have to be the prerequisites for admissions into SGU, even Ross is joining the ranks and AUC is not far behind. But I must say these school also give a student a second chance to follow their dream and become a doctor.
Thanks.
Thanks.
If I know for sure that I want to practice in California, then I should apply to a California-approved school. Most physicians don't intend to be licensed by all 50 states.
Also, just because you can theoretically be licensed in a state doesn't mean that you automatically will. Some states require you to do your clinical rotations in ACGME-accredited clinical sites. Some require you to take certain courses like Family Medicine (which happens to be required at AUA) and Neurology (not currently required at AUA).
Are these above mentioned criteria is only from Caribbean schools. The ACGME green book rotation.
-----My questions
Thanks for your knowledge. Can you please tell me, how can a foreign medical graduates from India, Pakistan, China etc., can get license in practically every state? These foreign medical docs are working in virtually all the states.
What about the ACGME accredited clinical sites for these graduates, who have done all their clinical in their home countries. They don't come here and do their clinical in ACGME accredited sites again? I guess its ACGME accredited if it's in a foreign country like India, Pakistan, China etc., but for Caribbean school ACGME has different rules am I right?
Your answer is greatly appreciated.
