Hey all!

I got accepted to Ross to start the DVM program September 2022. I got accepted to SGU to start the FTV program August 2022.

Before the acceptances, I would have preferred SGU for their global health veterinary track. However, post-acceptances I was leaning towards Ross. But the more I think of it, the more I just keep thinking of the global health veterinary track at SGU.

If anyone has any opinion, experience, or input about this that’d be great. Thank you!!

P.S. I am still waiting to hear from schools in the States before deciding.

Personally when I was considering those schools, I was leaning towards SGU for several reasons, including lower attrition rates (afaik), higher NAVLE pass rates, as well as being cheaper than Ross, but I'm not sure if it would still be the cheaper option if you have to go through the FTV program first? I don't believe that program is eligible for federal loans but I could be wrong. I would look at the cost difference between the two.
