So I just got offered a job as a dental receptionist because I was not experienced enough to become an assistant. The manager there told me that if there is an opening in the back (dental assisting), then she would put me back there. I was wondering if this would count as my dental experience. I would assume that it doesn't count as shadowing 🙁 The school that I want to apply to requires 100 hrs of shadowing, but I only have 50hrs right now. Also, I can't find a time to shadow a dentist because my schedule changes every week.
