I am filling out my "post- secondary experiences" portion of my application and I am confused as to which catagory I should list my shadowing expereices?

Is it:

volenteer work/community serivce - medical?
or
research/lab
or
teaching/tutoring
or
conferences attended
or
hobbies
or
other?

Where did you put yours?

My shadowing has included Anth, OBGYN, Othro, Onclogy.

that's seems like the only choice

they should have a "medical education" catagory or somethign

I'm guessing teaching/tutoring.

meister - ask your advisor first, because mine connected us with a Medical Society that finds mentors for you. Secondly, ask your personal doctor if you could shadow him or if he knows a doctor you could shadow. After that, if you can't get ahold of a certain specialty you want to see, say an emergency room, try calling the manager/director of the ER and ask if there's a program or a willing physician.

Or work for a landscaping company, like me, because doctors are usually rich and usually have a landscaper. I personally know an anesthesiologist, opthalmologist, neurosurgeon, and indirectly two orthopedic surgeons (and more).
