This may seem like a silly question but given the number of bizzarre test center requirements (such as the requirement that earplugs must be in new, unopened packages*), I just want to be sure -- I'm allowed to wear flip flops during the test right?

*I never understood this requirement. It's not like we can hide anything in the earplugs after we open the package... I've had to go to 3 pharmacies just to find a pack that's actually sealed and not in a zip-lock type bag (just so they wouldn't find an excuse and say I can't use them because the package has been opened).

You'd be surprised at what some people do to cheat on the MCAT. I bet there's small enough transmitters out there to fit inside earplugs.

Anyways, I'm sure flip flops are fine. I wore crocs and had no problems.

I'd wear shoes into the center and put flip flops into your locker. My center was freezing so it would have been uncomfortable if I had no socks/shoes.
