Hello everyone,

In my exam I shook hands with two patients with my gloves on as the time for the encounter was over and I was still having my gloves on from after the examination. I did not take them off after examination and they were on during closure. Is this a crucial or a major mistake ? Please anybody tell me. Thank you.

Ah no - don't sweat it. I certainly wouldn't consider that a big deal and it seems like a very reasonable mistake to make with all the pressure of the exam.

If *thats* the mistake you're worried about after the exam, I'm sure you did fine and passed comfortably. I made a ton of mistakes, had about a week-long panic attack after the exam, and ended up passes just fine.

It's an absurd test that makes everyone feel terrible afterwards. It's very, very easy for me to tell you not to worry about it since I'm sitting on the other side with a pass, and I know how little it can mean when you're anxious and worried, but you probably did just fine.

I have a friend who reportedly did not wash his hands on a few encounters and still passed just fine. Wearing your gloves while shaking hands should be just fine.
