We actually had conversation on this in a class. I am trying to find the research that was use, but at no luck. Chew on this then

So.. pretty much anyone over 6ft is a mutant set for success... jk.

Well, things are going well for me. Is it because I am 6'2". No, but it definitely helps. Yet, it is just one variable among many. Do I think that being tall will place you on the road to med school success. Of course not, that would be silly, and I am not stupid. If you are short, don't worry about it, focus on your other strengths. And rock the interview. And get a really good looking suit.

Oh, and do I deserve any credit for being 6"2"? Absolutely not, just because I won the genetic lottery, why should I get any credit. And my Mom, she breast fed me until I was 18 months old, that helped. So you med school moms, breast feed your children, at least during the first year of life, 18 months is better if you are not too busy, that is sound medical advice. It is good for your kids. They will thank you later.

It seems like many post-interview rejections were sent to short guys. I am beginning to believe that height plays a big factor in this. I am only 5' 7 1/2'' and maybe that was the reason that I got rejected. I am pretty sure that the other two dudes that got rejected from Drexel and other east coast schools were around my height? I guess some schools like Drexel judge candidates based on height. Oh well, who wants to go to that kind of school anyway

Not to resurrect this nonsensical thread, but 5' 6 1/2" right here and seems like I was the first acceptance to Drexel of the regular admissions cycle. Obviously you were too tall, friend. Try losing an inch or so. Sorry to see that you got banned as well. Haha payce out.

if you have $150,000, fly to germany or france and have fitbone or albizzia surgery and gain additional 4~5 inches

You would look pretty funny if you extended your legs by 5 inches and the rest of your body stayed the same

Well, I'm 5'4" and I have an acceptance so far. Just throwing that out there for anyone trying to analyze all this (add it to our sample of 3 so far).
