Hello,
I have asked a past professor of mine if they would be able to write a strong letter of recommendation and they agreed. I am confident this letter will be well written and adequately highlight academic strengths I'd like supported. However, I am concerned about the rather short rapport I have had with this professor. They only teach a single class in my department, so the length of my rapport was for a single semester. In this time, I demonstrated a variety of strengths that can be highlighted in the letter (that is to say, there won't be a lack of content). However, as per the AAMC instruction, they will likely include that the length of rapport. I'm worried that the letter will be dismissed on account of this.
Are my worries justified? Is a single semester too short of a rapport for an academic LOR?
