Taking it this Thursday Jan 19

AAMC FL1: 516 (130, 128, 129, 129) 3 days ago

AAMC FL2: 519 (131, 130, 132, 126) Today

getting a 126 on P/S today really brought me down. looks like i just gave up after B/B
anyone have advice on how to stay alert for the last section? cortisol levels have been high for the past few days

for cars i use some PR tactics such as reading the questions before reading the passage to prime my brain, and i always try to think like the author
my weakness in cars usually results from my presumptions on certain topics
also, don't choose the best answer but rather, the least wrong answer

things i do outside of MCAT: read a lot of NYTimes, engage in discussions in humanities courses (when taking any), appreciate logic

How did it go? Which exams that you used did you feel were the most reflective of the real test? What did you use to prep, content wise? Did you like them? I am trying to decide on a book set and which company's exams to buy, besides the AAMC of course.

I ended up getting a 520, which was pretty close to my AAMC scores.
I thought C/P was the hardest section, I was pressed for time, and constantly writing down calculations, don't have time to check your answers, guess but don't second guess and move on. I got a perfect score.
I thought CARS was the easiest section, but ended up getting my lowest score 127 <- seems to be my trend throughout undergrad of doing well after thinking something was difficult but mediocre on easy topics
B/B and P/S were pretty standard.
I was extremely anxious for 2-3 days after the exam and moderately anxious for a month before receiving my score.

As for the materials, I used EK/PR for the books, and NextStep for exams (never broke 516). Few days before the test, I chugged MCAT Elite from Princeton Review, but the 1-week before test day strategy is different for everyone.
