Do you have a shot? Yes. How much of a shot? Only way to find out is to apply

How many credits of post-bacc work did you do?

Get rid of Mayo, Brown, KC, U of Wash to start. Dartmouth, GW, G'town, Cincinnati and Wright State are probably going to be lower yield if you want to get rid of those.

Might as well also consider Medical College of Wisconsin, Oakland, Creighton, Drexel, Temple, and Saint Louis while you are at it. If you have a pressing need to start medical school in the fall of 2017 include DO schools. If you arent looking to include DO schools consider applying to SMPs come late fall if you dont hear favorable news from MD programs as a backup plan if you dont get in next cycel.

Thanks for the advice. I'll add and remove the schools you've mentioned. I'm really big into Neurology/Neurosurgery, so I'm looking more into MD to get a better shot at future specialization.

Including lecture and lab, it comes out to about 30 credits (A and A+ grades in all of em.)

Any DO school, starting with SOMA, AZCOM, Western and TUNCOM.

Never would've thought of that one. The MSAR gives more favorable numbers that I would have thought.

Additionally, my top choices are UA - Phoenix, Oakland, and Loyola.

rosalind Franklin is a really good school for those interested in neurology/neurosurgery. Just be aware, it isn't in Chicago, but the area it is in is pretty cool, imo

By the way, any special reason I should take out UMKC? Ive seen their match lists which look pretty good, but I keep hearing people say not to apply there. Any special reason?

Most of their OOS matriculants are "special programs."
