I’m assuming that wolves knew whom they targeted. So if someone wanted to claim getting attacked, great. Or if the blocker decided they wanted to out their target, great. Or if someone wanted to claim night cancel, yay. If no one wanted to say anything, then I would just continue to sit here in the dark.

It originates from Baby Animals where @Viscernable and I were wolves and decided to NK @supershorty N1 (N0 technically) even though she’d modded the last game. The thread blew up, people called us dick wolves, and Midwife and Cray spent 30 pages of the game arguing about who would and who wouldn’t “be a dick” and kill a previous mod off the bat and wether or not you could use it to clear certain people and narrow down the POE.

Oh I thought it came from that time wolves killed Cessna :whistle:, and was also applied to your situation.

Actually, it originated from 2018 when Stagg repeatedly hardbussed a partner to the point of death, without warning her, and at a time when she wasn't able to defend herself for hours, despite her wanting to live as long as possible.

I think it would be funny if something like this happened and the bussee just threw up there hands and said "yep, imma wolf and we are packmates!"

It would suck for the remaining players regardless of how funny it was.

Did Stagg end up winning that game? (I hope it didn't work)

Oh it worked. This is what set the tone for Stagg bussing every game from there on out.

Iirc though she often is in a lot of danger early even if not actually voted out. The point stands about giving her more of a chance I think, especially this game she started strong

I believe it's happened, the problem is the WIFOM on that and people tending not to believe the FOS (finger of suspicion) pointed at players by a wolf that is going down

I believe this will help sort out misgivings I have about zenges to some degree. It will also avoid a possible misyeet of zenges if the claim is true. And since none of the claim absolves WZ, this makes more sense right now.

I’m still uncomfortable with the question, and worry about it. But at the risk of starting this debate again, it might incline people to lean one way or the other on their reads of people. AM for example who has gotten some heat this game but said she would not have killed me N1 this game before the reveal. She could be lying, it could be WIFOM, but on the whole, it seems believable. So if it helps villagers get a better read on each other, at the cost of not giving away too much to the wolves it seems beneficial overall.
