Should I add schools? Or do I just need to relax?

I'll try to make this short (partly because i'm at work and shouldn't be on here). Any help/advice anyone has would be amazing! Check out my predents for my info if you want to get an idea of where I'm coming from...

I applied to 12 schools and just got a rejection letter from Case.
My dad suggested that I add some schools to better my chances and that it'd be cheaper to add a couple of schools this year than have to go through this process again next year.

With that said...good idea? Or do I just need to relax?

Possible schools I'd add:
Temple
Columbia
Creighton
Detroit Mercy
Nova
VCU
UMDNJ
Maryland
(suggestions?)

Thank you for any help you might have
Ok, I gotta get back to work

I'd say it doesn't hurt to spend the extra cash if you have it AND you KNOW you would go to the school you add if it were to be the only school you end up getting into. There's a rumor that Case is rejecting anybody with a sGPA lower than 3.4 so that could explain your hasty rejection from them, but otherwise you seem to have a pretty good application so I think you'll end up with a few interviews at other schools. ... but regardless, it doesn't hurt to spend the extra cash now rather than having to do it all again next year. That is my humble opinion 🙂

Thanks for the words of encouragement.

I was wondering if Columbia would be a good idea or not. I hear they put alot of weight on the DAT rather than GPA which is good for me, but I feel like my low sGPA might hold me back.

And I'm thinking of taking Creighton/Nova off my list because I dont see myself wanting to live in either location. Possibly Detroit too. I feel like beggars cant be choosers though. Should I just keep them anyways?

If you're going to add them, add them as soon as possible because it takes schools forever to look at everything.
