Should I address this AMCAS error in my secondaries or let it go?

To give some context: I work as an occupational health technician. I have been working around 50 or so hours a week from January-May (around 950 Hours). A few years ago, I worked for the same company, but only amassed about 510 hours from May-July.

Here is where the error came in: I marked the original 510 hours down, and then as a second event (within the same activity) I was supposed to mark the 950 hours I did. Instead, I accidentally marked 1460 hours (the combination of the 510+950). Basically, I have 510 hours marked twice. In the grand scheme of things this isn't a huge deal. I have over 2000 clinical hours as it is. I am just worried they will see the 1460 and think that I worked 70 hours a week from Jan-May, and think I am lying.

Should I mention this in my secondaries, or should I let it go and, if they ask questions, apologize and explain myself?

@Goro @LizzyM I see you most commonly when searching for answers on this site so I figured I would tag you if that's alright!! Thank you for all you do for us 🙂

You should let it go and, if they ask questions, explain your mistake.
Thank you for the insight! I am a little unfamiliar with how schools check this, I am assuming that they would call my contact first to verify hours? Should I inform my boss of the mixup first? How often do schools check these sorts of things? I'd imagine having hours that are higher than full-time may raise some flags.

Not sure about the activity verification process, other than that I believe schools are doing this more often now to follow compliance standards. The dates of employment are probably what is important and the fact you actually worked full time instead of just a few shifts.

Never, ever bring attention to a negative.
