Just finished taking the DAT today and received this score:

19 Perceptual
19 GC
19 Bio
21 OG
22 Reading

3.80 BCP
3.79 Science
4.00 NonScience
3.86 Overall GPA


I already sent out my application to 13 schools. Do I have a chance??

I sent out my app 2 weeks ago and my gpa and everything has been calculated. I just took my dats bc I didn't want to wait any longer to send out my app.

There is NO possible way of telling how well the OP will do in the app cycle. People with low GPAs get in, people with high GPAs get rejected.

So... Why does the title of your thread say "Should I apply" and yet in your first post you say "I already sent out my application to 13 schools."? If you're contemplating your odds at an acceptance-- besides the publicly available data that everyone has access to, ie. the average DAT and GPA scores for matriculants, your guess is about as good as anyone elses. Your DAT score is about the average for matriculants and your GPA is above average. Take that information and make your own conclusion 😛

We have very similar stats:

20AA/19TS/19PAT , 3.76 oGPA, 3.89 sGPA

If you applied early, you should get quite a few interview invites. From there, it all depends on the rest of your application and how you do in your interview.

btw, I already received an invite from a Texas school. (TX resident)
