So here's my dilemma. 95 Comp PCAT, <2.9 sGPA, 3.3 cGPA, not calculated by Pharmcas yet, so it could be lower for both. I have great ECs and pretty decent LOR and PS.

Before taking the PCAT I was planning on applying to mostly Private schools, and a few reach public schools. Do you guys think I have a better shot at any public schools now? I really want to go to a large public university. Any suggestions on schools I might be able to get an interview at? Thanks!

I applied to both public and private schools, i was accepted into 2 of both and turned down interview at 3 schools.

i had a 2.9 pharmcas gpa, BUT my last 60 credit hours were about 3.5+, i had grades from 10 years ago pull my gpa down.

I would apply to both, what will it hurt?

If public schools such as (U.of Colorado) accepts more out of state applicants, I think you should definitely apply. The public institutions are willing to accept more out of state to make some chiching! 👍

But yeah, your chances are really good. Make sure to rock your PS, EC's and other areas as well.

Thanks for the input. I'm adding a few more OOS public schools! I hope I have a shot!
