Hello everyone. So I am taking the DATs this summer and was wondering if I should apply or wait another year to boost up my GPA. My cgpa is 3.2 and my sgpa is 2.8 🙁. I know my gpa is pretty low and I am trying to bring it up. I'll be going into my 4th year next term. Should I apply this summer or wait till after my 4th year to apply so I can bring my grades up a bit. Any advice will help! Thank you.

You should probably wait until you can get that sGPA up to about 3.0.

Take the DAT now. that way you can see where you fall.
Second if you can bump up your GPA to a 3.0 or at least somehting very very close to a 3.0 like a 2.9XXXXX. Then it will be fine to apply this cycle.. I wouldn't apply to that many schools though. The way i look at it you have to score pretty high on your DAT. Then hopefully you have a state school. Apply to your state school and hope for a post December interview after you submit your new grades with a new higher sci gpa. You may get in. If you don't get in, you have experience in the application cycle.
I always suggest taking the DAT early. If you get a 17 you have a chance to improve if you get a 22 then you know with only a little hard GPA boosting that youll be accepted. good luck
