There are plenty of MD , and all DO, schools that reward reinvention.Recently got accepted into 2020-2021 MBS program at Geisinger. Trying to figure out if my best route is instead to do a year or 2 of GPA repair and then attempt a masters program before applying to med school? Stats are sub par with 2.7 cGPA and 2.6 sGPA. I know that if I do the MBS program, the GPA won't count towards undergrad GPA and it will probably get weeded out when I do end up applying. Thanks!
Read my post on reinvention for premeds to see the pluses and minuses of SMP vs DIY postbac. I lean to the former as it's high risk, but higher reward
