Should I contact schools?

Hi all. I just retook the DAT today and got a 20. I had applied in late may and had sent my old scores (AA 18). Should I email all the schools making sure they know that I took the DAT and I did much better?

It just seems to me like they could come across my application and just toss it when they see the 18...

Here is what you should do.

1) Revise the DAT section of your AADSAS application.

2) Make a DAT score report request at ADA.

3) Call schools to see if they accept a faxed copy of unofficial score report that you received at the prometric center. If they do, fax ASAP.

Did #1 right away, for #2 I had already selected all the schools when I registered to take the DAT so they should be sent. I was just worried because I heard it takes 2 weeks and I wanted them to know my scores ASAP. #3 is a good idea. Thanks for the help.

you should just play it cool...make sure they have your most recent scores.

otherwise you'll get them mad.

have some patience...good luck
