Should I do early decision?

My stats:
3.006 cum
2.8 Math and Science

Retaking Organic 1&2 and Microbiology this upcoming year.
Taking PCAT in September (The school will allow me to give them unofficial score)

I read somewhere that it's harder to get in if you don't do early decision. Some school only accepted 2 people from 40 people in the batch in regular decision, and you need stronger stats for regular decision.

ED helps your chances for getting in, but puts you later in the app cycle for the other schools if you don't. You still know fairly early though.
