Hello! I'm a Singaporean who is thinking of accepting an offer by University of auckland for the MBChB programme. I've been told that, upon graduation, i will be able to practice in Australia as well as Singapore cuz its under the second schedule. But I know of the internship crisis in both Australia and New Zealand, and how hard it is to get a job in these 2 countries. In New Zealand itself, according to their official stats, in 2019 and 2018, 0 international non NZ/Aus citizens got a job in New Zealand and honestly, that scares me. I think the only option i have is to come back to Singapore but im worried if there would be any PGY1/housemanship positions available after i graduate from New Zealand in 5 years.
