I had a B+ in chemistry I and I'm going to have to work for a B+ in chemistry II as well. Should I just drop pre med? My gpa is 3.89 currently and as far as my upper maths and biology courses I've gotten As and I'm more of a math person and if AP physics is any indication of gen physics I should be fine.

Is it really that big a deal if I get these two Bs but still maintain a 3.85+ sGPA? or like am I going to have a hard time finding decent medical school acceptances?

Yea, anything below a 3.90 means you're pretty much done for :troll:
Sorry man

I've never heard of someone getting into med school with a B+. Better go PA

Edit: in all seriousness, I had multiple Bs on my transcript and managed to scrape a couple Top 20 acceptances. Don't let a couple letters dissuade you from your life goals, if being a doc is truly what you want.

Is this just insane neuroticism? Or are you actually asking if you should drop your "pre-med" major? My school had one. If you're more interested in math or physics and feel you'd do better there, then change your major and just do what's necessary to get into med school.
