Should I Even Apply Within The First Week?

I just received word from one of my letter writers that because of finals, she hasn't started on any of her letters of evaluation yet (I asked her at the end of February). She knows me pretty well and said that it'll be done by the middle of June.

I'm taking the DAT in the middle of June so my scores won't be sent until the end of that month.

My question is that because schools will not review my application until the DAT scores are sent and LOE forwarded from AADSAS, is there and added benefit to applying on June 1?

From what I understand, my application would just sit there until they receive the missing LOR and DAT scores. Would waiting until the middle of June to submit (when I have all of my LORs together and DAT scores ready to be sent) negatively impact my application?

They can get started on verifying your GPA, which takes some time.

Submit even if you don't have DAT done or LORs.

Doesn't have to be on the first day, can be 1-2 weeks from open and still be in the first batch.

Yeah I'll probably just submit it within the first week. It's not really that big of a deal.

I'm also wondering how you know which batch your application gets sent out in. Do they tell you the dates that they're mailing the applications?

Benefit? not exactly.... but ease of mind yes. Get it out of the way so you don't keep thinking about it

Within the portal it tells you "mailed on......"
