Should I even submit AMCAS?

I've been on varsity sports every year, deans list, officer positions in multiple clubs, have done internships, shadowing, volunteering etc, great LoR from employers, coaches, doctors and premed committee.

Don't have time to study and re-take mcat this summer.

I have submitted my AACOMAS, but don't know if it's worth it to submit MD if there's no chance, so you advice would be appreciated!

pick your race. marvel at your chances. you have a good shot of getting into your state school and probably some of the "lower tier" schools.

If everything about your application is good except your MCAT score, then go for it. Just be realistic about your school list. Come back and post in this thread with your list once you have some ideas

If you have the money and time, do it! 🙂 There are a number of schools with a 10th percentile MCAT score of 27. The rest of your application seems more than solid. You will almost certainly get into a DO school. What have you got to lose?
