Hey guys,

I was wondering if I should give up on Tufts for the following reasons

1) I am a Canadian. I have heard that they no longer accept Canadians
2) I did not submit an LOR from a Biology professor as they asked for on the site. How is that going to affect my application? Is it useless now?

Thanks

I don't know about anything about them not accepting Canadians, but I did contact Tufts about the LOR from a biology professor. I have a committee letter which required 3 professor recommendation letters to get (I got 1 chemistry, 1 math, and 1 speech professor to write the letters) and I have an LOR from a dentist. They told me that as long as I had the committee letter I would meet their requirements. Not sure if this helps you out, because I don't know if you have a committee letter, but I thought I would throw it out there! Good luck!

Yeah... they're pretty strict on the bio LOR, according to one of the staff members manning the booth at the ADEA virtual fair yesterday. Just FYI... Like you, I don't have one, so I am not applying to Tufts. (caveat: I don't have a committee letter, just individual LOR's.)

Yes, you should quit on Tufts.

They don't take Canadians. Also, how were you planning on paying for Tufts? It's one of the most expensive schools in the country. Like 100k/year after living expenses.
