Should I go for an interview knowing that just for alternate spot???

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.

If it's your only chance of acceptance it may be worth it. The waiting list movement can change from year to year. If I were in the same situation I would chance it.

Definitely, go for it, you never know if you are going to be accepted.

Do you have an acceptance yet? How much will the interview cost you?

do they tell you the interview is for an alternate spot when they invite you? or did you assume?

Its Indiana.
Are you OOS or in state? If your OOS you have a chance. Cause the OOS moves pretty fast. I've heard that its moved like 50 spots before. Its worth your time if your OOS. Plus its still early in the cycle. Lots of people that were on the alternate list in feb or march got into Indiana. Do a quick search on the forum. But if your in state the chances are pretty low.

Yeah I got invited for for pre-dec but could not go so the lady sent me an email back saying that spring interview just for alternate spots.

Thanks for replying guys. Im OOS. My interview on feb 11.

Especially since OOS it will cost 400k.

I was accepted and I loved the staff, students, and environment, but the price is unfortunate. I will be withdrawing my acceptance.
