Alright, so I have a bit of a dilemma and not sure what to do. I have been accepted to LMU-DCOM and have a deposit due second week in january. I have been invited to interview at both Touro Nevada and ACOM at the end of january. I am paying for all deposits and travel expenses out of my own pocket and don't know if it's worth it to go to anymore interviews at this point? I really loved DCOM and would be happy to attend but also want to make the best decision for myself, and see what the other schools have to offer. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you!

From I understand, ACOM has the same curriculum as dcom and the same folks founded both.

ACOM has hands-down superior clinical rotations.

Can't speak for the touros as I never applied to them...

Do you feel like you're settling by going to DMU? If yes, I encourage taking interviews if there is a school you would prefer.

If you are satisfied with DMU, which in my opinion it doesn't sound like you are because you are asking this question in the first place, put your deposit down.

If you can see yourself attending any of those schools over DCOM then you owe it to yourself to go and check it out. You earned it!

If DCOM is your top choice then cancel your interviews and enjoy yourself before you start.

Simple as that

DMU and DCOM are different schools.

Congrats on DCOM! Definitely put the deposit down to at least secure a seat somewhere. If you feel like exploring and have some extra cash, go to the interviews at ACOM and TUNCOM. If you are truly happy and this was your top school, sit back and enjoy your break before school starts.

Oops. Yeah that's what I meant.

Forget Touro NV but go for ACOM and decide between the two (if accepted to ACOM) at that point. Deciding between two schools is a wonderful struggle to have.

May I ask why forget Touro NV? I interviewed there and thought it was a pretty solid program with good rotations out in the west coast. Also interviewed at ACOM, loved it there too but if I had to choose one I would try to go for Touro NV over ACOM.

ACOM clinical rotations are top notch

This ^ This is really pretty cut and dry. If you are 100% satisfied with LMU then game over put down the deposit and don't look back. Otherwise if you have the funds go check out the other 2 schools. I personally would probably pick Touro NV first then Acom then LMU. But to each his own.
