I have an interview at Louisville and I am a Florida resident, but I am considering not going. I applied to 8 schools and is my 5th interview invite. I applied there because I was trying to apply to enough schools, but comparing it to my other potential schools the tuition is really steep as an OOS student and very far from home. Should I spend more money ($420+) and interview there anyways? I would attend if it was by last choice. It makes me anxious to turn down an interview so early, but I would choose any of the four schools I have interviews at over Louisville. What do y'all think?

See! You didn't need more than 10 schools. 🙂

When is this interview? If you know Louisville is a low priority for you, you can decline it (since it's in-person). Granted, you don't know if they might have a scholarship in its back pocket, but you don't want to be miserable, even if you have a free ride (if they offer it).

It may seem non-confident to say this, but I think you should go to all interviews until you have an admission.
If this school really doesn’t seem right for you, push the interview date into the future as far as you can and maybe one of your other schools will make you an offer by then

thanks for the advice, I think I will push it for now. Unfortunately no acceptances are released until dec. 13th this year though

I say go, you never know if you'll like it more than you think. Also there's no guarantee the other interviews will lead to an A until its official, so I say go and then if you still feel the same then you can always reject the offer!
