I am taking a CNA course to become a CNA but i was informed that with an extra session with my instructor (kinda like a review) that i will be able to sit for the GNA and take it. Is it worth the extra steps to become a GNA? What can GNA's do that CNA's cant. How would an adcome view a CNA vs a GNA? Equally? GNA > CNA? or is it really what you do with it?

Thanks.

WTF! What is a GNA? I don't think adcoms would care a bit. The important aspect is to gain meaningful clinical experience, your title contributes very little unless it enables you to get more exposure to cool stuff in medicine.

My douchey answer is that I think maybe you should spend some extra time on your writing skills instead of pursuing extracurriculars. My nice answer is that I don't think anyone would care as long as both positions allow you to get some meaningful clinical experience.
