I have quite a bit of certifications from the lifesaving society ( a canadian organization that concerned with anything swimming related ) which all deal with teaching and examining candidates in standard first aid, basic/competitive swimming, and rescuing drowning people. In addition, I took some 4-10 hr. courses on healthy child development, and how to put aggressive individuals in restraints. In total, I've spent about 150hrs in these courses. I'm thinking I could just mention some of these in my lifeguarding EC, but I was wondering if I should put all these certs under one separate slot.

Thanks for the advice.

I would only include the courses from the lifesaving society. Restraining individuals (I've taken a course on this as well) is not really relevant to your application and doesn't fit with the other courses. I'm unclear about the childhood development courses. Did you mean you did ONE class that lasted 4-10 hours or that you took multiple? If you took multiple, I might consider putting that in as separate. Again, I'm not sure how relevant this is to your application to medical school.
