Should I include an extra (4th) reference for AADSAS?

I have the required number of references for my application, but I have the option to add one more. My potential 4th referee is a professor whose course I failed the first time and retook, she's seen my academic growth firsthand and has already agreed to write for me. On one hand, she could speak to my resilience and perseverance, which feels like a compelling narrative addition. On the other hand, I already have strong references and I'm not sure if having her write risks drawing unnecessary attention to the failed attempt.

Has anyone added an extra reference in a similar situation? Was it worth it?
