General Should I join the accepted student Groupme?

Should you join the accepted student GroupMe and if so, should you join with an anonymous account or your name and info? I have heard stories about groups getting weird and offers getting rescinded.

I think you should wait until the school itself sets one up, which will not usually happen this early but closer to when people are committed to a school. There have been issues with non-students starting one and collecting emails for marketing
