Ok here's my situation.
I'm a non traditional student who has taken a while to get my self together academically. When I was a freshman I got in trouble at my college for taking a blank perscription out of the clinic at my school. I was younger (this happened in 1997) and immature and needed to do alot of growing up at that point in my life.
Before anyone starts judging me keep in mind that I have learned alot from this experience and have completly changed my life since then. I just made some poor decisions and have learned from them and am all the better for it.
As a result nothing went on my criminal record their were no police or anything involved, but I was suspended from school for 1 semester and had to go though community service and counseling. I did all this and went back to school and finished my degree. I am in good standing with the school and could return.
My question is would this event disqualify me from acceptance to D-school. I realize that its definatly not a good thing, but would it completly rule out admittance for me.
I know their are alot of other factors that play into getting accepted and I'm just wanting some opinions.
Also another thing I should point out is this event doesn't even show up on my offical transcript. I just don't want to not mention something like this and then it come up later and result in me getting dismissed or anything like that.
Anyone have any thoughts?
