should i lost mooc courses ive completed from edx and coursera ect in my med application? It may be far out but do these show initiative or are they just a joke? Some of the courses are offered by real upper level institutions

This is probably a waste of space as these courses are not considered rigorous and the actual skill level you get from them is difficult to verify even with the certificate. They could be worth including as part of an activity (for example, if one of your extracurriculars involves coding or machine learning you could mention learning to code as part of it if you have room) or in interviews if they organically come up as a way to showcase your intellectual curiosity
