I decided to take honors Orgo 1 this year in order to fulfill a requirement with the honors college. I anticipated a harder class, but I figured a more in depth learning environment would come with this. Long story short, things that are not being well taught are expected of us on the exams. I have only gotten A/A- in my other courses up until this point (around 40 credits), but am anticipating a B/B+ in this course. My real question is, would it look bad for me to drop back down to a regular level organic chem 2 course next semester or should I keep with the Honors track and possibly get a slightly lower grade? These classes are both 200 level at my institution, but the honors one has a higher number within that level. Any advice is helpful.
Go with the one you would get a better grade.

End of the day, it's a numbers game. They will look at your final GPA/sGPA, and unless something looks really odd nobody is going to analyze your transcript to see how many honors classes you took.
