I just finished my first year of undergrad at Ohio State Univ. I originally thought I wanted to do nursing, before I was absolutely set onto dentistry. At OSU, there is a non-science and a science level of all intro courses. Since nursing was considered non-science, I have taken both, but and currently in the process of the upper/science level courses. Here are my grades...
Bio 101 (non-science level): B+
Soc 101: B
Pre-Calc/Trig: D+ (retook for a B)
Bio 113 (science intro to bio): B-
Chem 101 (non-science level): B
Chem 121 (science level): C+
Calc/analytical geom: C

cGPA is a 2.86, and the only courses I've taken (with the exception of one, which I got an A- in) have been science courses, so my sGPA is close to my overall. Any advice for me? I know I have to get quite a few A's to boost my GPA..Thanks in advance guys🙂

Just make better grades next year. Its your first year, dont sweat it to bad b/c with good grades your gpa will move up quickly

just start getting those A's, you're fine! You can salvage your gpa easily

you gotta buck-up pal. You still have 3 years (if not more) of undergrad left, you can easily bring that science and overall GPA to more respectable levels (3.4 or even higher). But your gonna have to start pulling 3.7+ GPAs per term from now on.
