I'm not sure if I should panic yet. I'm a TX resident, and applied/transmitted in mid July.

Stats:
cGPA: 3.51
sGPA: 3.39
MCAT: 28P

Yes they are low, but the last 3 semesters I've had a pretty decent increasing trend.
Over 500+ hours of clinical experience both volunteer and work.
I've had a part-time job as a Resident Advisor the last 3 semesters, with the increase in grades.
5 LORs from great professors, including my Ochem and Physiology.

I've applied to all the TX schools, and about 7 around the country, both DO/MD.

I've received only one interview so far, from TCOM, which I attended and I'm pretty sure I did fairly well.
I'm not sure what I should do...I've already sent update letters to all the schools last week, indicating my current leadership positions, and my desire to attend the schools.

What are the chances that I'll receive more interviews?

Does panicking seem like a good idea to you? I don't think there are any other alternatives. Just be patient. Good luck.

Your stats aren't the greatest, but what can you do at this point? Sit back, relax and know that it's more or less out of your hands now 😎

When in doubt....

Panic. They'll know if you aren't. They're always watching...

I totally understand how you are feeling... But at least you had one interview in Texas! It only takes one, and TCOM is amazing... The time to panic is after Nov15th if you don't prematch. But even then, you still have the match in February 🙂 applying in Texas is tough, just hang in there and if it is meant to be, it will happen.
