Hi everyone, seeing as the next cycle looms near and I don't have any As yet, I am looking for some advice for reapplication. Thanks in advance for all your help!

Current situation:
4 II, 0 A, 2 WL, 1 post-II R
3.85 and 514, Cali resident, applied broadly
~1500 research hours (2 different labs), 200 clinical (hospital volunteering), 100 volunteer (mostly COVID aid), 40 shadowing (2 different specialties), 1 presentation and a TA experience

This past year while applying:
part-time in same research lab, 1 pub from that lab (maybe more accepted soon), 3 months part-time data analysis for SARS assays, 100 clinical / shadowing hours where I got to perform perform physicals and touch tumors

My question is whether or not my application has improved significantly enough to reapply this upcoming cycle, or should wait another year?

It looks like the only other thing that you could have done was add more volunteer hours so I would say you should be good to go for this upcoming cycle.

I would be surprised though if you did not get accepted off one of the three schools that you are currently waitlisted at.

Your resume looks pretty solid. I am rooting for you to get off the waitlist but I would jump right back in if that is not the case. Did you apply to DO schools?
